We play 4 seasons; spring, summer, fall and winter.  Registration is open year round.  We have tryout windows for those who have never played competitive soccer.  Contact us at lowen83fc@gmail.com or call us at 415-952-5362.

Refunds are determined on a case by case basis.  Contact Lowen83fc@gmail.com for additional questions.

Safety and health is a top priority at our club.  We defer to doctor’s consent to determine when a player is ready to return to the field.

Lowen83 is a non for profit soccer club and we offer financial assistance for those who qualify.

You may log your volunteer hours by going to the website’s volunteer page at Volunteer – Lowen83 FC Soccer Club page

We have partnered with a local soccer store to provide high quality uniforms to our athletes.  Once you become a registered player a link will be provided.  Uniform orders typically take 2-3 weeks.

Varies by team, however, typically 2-3 times per week.

  • Spring season runs from March – May
  • Summer season runs from June-August
  • Fall season runs from Sept-Dec
  • Winter season runs from Jan-Feb

We encourage all who are interested to come out and play.   Lowen83 has teams that play at all levels to suit and challenge players based on their current abilities and experience.   Our goal is to provide effective training so that they can be successful on the field.

Rain does not mean a game or practice is cancelled. For games, coaches and referees must meet at the field to determine playing conditions before canceling. Players should report to the field by game time. Soccer can be safely played in a light to moderate rain. We will not play or practice while lightning is visible from the field location.

Team travel is mostly local within the peninsula.  Tournament travel varies by team.  In most cases, teams in the U10 and below ages typically play league matches and attend tournaments within 25 miles.  Older teams may choose to travel more extensively determined by competitive goals. Our top teams within the older age groups will travel as necessary to find the level of desired competition and showcase opportunities for next level play.

We believe in allowing our players, especially at the younger ages, to play multiple sports. Coaches acknowledge that playing multiple sports will build a more well-rounded athlete.  This ultimately benefit the player in the long run. Older teams will expect a higher level of commitment and it may become more difficult to participate in multiple sports.

The club uses practice uniforms for our practices.  These are ordered along with game uniforms.

Cleats and shin guards are required for all practices and matches.  Some teams may also require you to have your own soccer ball.  Additionally, shoes designed for turf fields may also be required.

Yes, goal keepers receive training when practicing with their own team.  Additionally, the club provides goalie specific training at no additional cost.
