President & Scheduler
Mazen started with the club in 2012 when his 1st child joined. Eventually all 3 of his children played in the club. Now his kids are 20, 18 and 16 and he has witnessed his kids develop their playing skills and passion for the sport. Throughout the years Mazen has helped the club in many ways, by being a Team Manager, Assistant Manager, Scheduler and most recently accepted the role of President in 2022.
Gerard grew up in the bay area and has been with San Bruno Lowen83 soccer club since 2018. In that time he has coached several teams and now also works to help the club continue to deliver on its mission; bringing competitive soccer to the local soccer community. Gerard also has two children, ages 11 and 13, who play for the club.
Myla La Rocca
Myla started with Lowen 83 in 2012 as a Manager for the Ravens Black 03 team; She later also began to manage the Ravens White 03 team. She joined the Board of Directors in fall 2012. Her eldest played for the Warriors 98B and her middle child played for the Tornados 01 team. With her many years of knowledge and experience with the club, she continues to support and be an advisor so the club may continue to thrive and grow with in our community.
Amy has been with Lowen 83 club for several years and joined the board in 2019. She started as Director of Fundraising to now Registrar. She also is a Team Manager to the Panthers Black and helps with the Falcons Boys team; where her husband, Victor Fernandez is Head Coach. Despite her busy work/life balance and juggling her three children she enjoys working with the Lowen's club and being the pillar to getting our new team members up and running. Amy has 3 kids and 2 of them play with the club.
Director of Facilities &
Rich has been a valuable key member to youth soccer in the Bay Area for 26 years! Throughout the years he has held several positions on the Lowen83 board and he continues to ensure our fields are ready for all team's practices and matches. Rich is also the Referee scheduler and is always willing to help with recruiting, provide city insight and mentor our new incoming referees. He continues to support Lowen Club and the San Bruno community.
Omar originally joined the Lowen83 club in 2019 as a parent volunteer, eventually taking on the roles of Team Manager and Assistant Coach. Omar is a firm advocate of the club's mission of bringing soccer to the broader Peninsula Bay Area community. He currently serves as Head Coach of the 2012B Lightning White, and Secretary on the club Board of Directors. Omar also has two children, each of whom has played at the club.
